Malaysia – The Floodgates Break Open

Our most recent training program is called “Opening the Floodgates”, based in Isaiah’s words, “I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessings on your descendants. They will spring up like grass in a meadow, like poplar trees by flowing streams” (Isaiah 44:3-4). And, truly, God has already begun to pour His Spirit out on the students from our campuses.

Two nights ago, we had an American food night where nearly 100 students showed up. The house was literally packed from the inside out; hardly an empty chair in the entire place. I’ve watched as the Malaysian students are deeply challenged by the passion for Christ and the strength in the basics that their American friends have. To see these friendships blossom is a great delight.
