The purpose of the AFAM Network is to enrich the Navigator calling by empowering African American staff and disciplemakers to bring their full and unique contribution. We do that while equipping the broader Navigator family to be more effective in reaching, discipling, and partnering with African Americans.
The AFAM Network desires to connect, celebrate, and empower African Americans to contribute out of their unique God-given design.
“In my experience, the network has made a conscious effort to consider how we can become a life-giving family, not just a network striving toward shared goals and strategic objectives.
In the midst of hard times, the AFAM family has reminded us that the DNA of discipleship is much more like a connected family than a network; and that’s OK. My beloved friends, there is nothing quite like the family of God. This is family. This is AFAM.”
